T is for Today

I can be a worrier. I can be an obsessive. I could probably give anyone you know that worries a run for their money. That is why the verse in Matthew that says

is such a good reminder to me. I need to spend way less time trying to figure out every nuance of tomorrow and way more time just enjoying where I am today. That makes way more sense, and when I do it, it makes me a happier, more content, more fulfilled person. It's easy to worry, but it's pointless. What will be, will be. I cannot change the past or predict the future, so I should learn to live more in the today and focus on that, instead.

So, today is about living in the moment, praying for peace about the rest of it, and enjoying the ride!
