A few years ago, I was in a local community theatre production of "Through the Looking Glass." It was the first community theatre I had done in a long time, so I was excited to be a part of the production. It was typical community theatre, but it did introduce me to some good people that have become friends. Anyway, while sitting around talking one night, we were bringing up versions of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass that was had read or seen through the years.
I kept bringing up this version I remember seeing when I was little. I didn't remember all of it, but I totally remembered Carol Channing turning into a sheep at some point, the Tweedle twins, and the Jabberwocky scaring the living daylight out of me. Still, no one believed me that it was real!
Well, today my friend Aubrey posted a link of facebook that totally made my day and proved me RIGHT! Here is the cover.
It recently came out on DVD. I need to have it in my collection. If I seriously hadn't just placed an Amazon order, I would buy it today. It's only $9.99. If I had $15 worth of additional stuff to buy, I would totally do it RIGHT NOW.
Anyway, I'm dying to see it again; mostly to see if it's quite the head trip that I remember it being! Does anyone else remember this version?
Here's the link in case you want more information about it!
It is everything you remember it being with Mr. Miagi and John stamos to boot!
