One month from today Tim and I will be married!!!!! I am just a tiny bit excited right now. I cannot wait to be his wife. I cannot wait to not have to go home at night. I cannot wait to start our life together that we've been talking about for so long. In just one short month, we will stand hand in hand in front of an ever-growing list of friends and family and make a promise. We will stand before God with a promise, as well.
The engagement period has been one of the most exciting times of my life. I have learned a lot about myself and about Tim. I have been learning a lot of skills that will make me a better wife, a better friend, and a better person. I love that I am constant being changed into a woman that honors God, loves her 'spouse', and is devoted to her friends!
One month. 30 little days. The final FINAL countdown has begun!

Thanks for all the Info....
"Unfortunately, we will not have the information on what will/happened to your Friday and Saturday mail."
The good news is I received mail yesterday. The bad news is the above. Apparently when I will see any mail that would have come to me on Friday or Saturday is anyone's guess. I'm praying it comes today, at least the RSVP's, so I can figure out who exactly I need to contact and how many people are actually coming to the wedding! It's the little things...
But, the people at the main post office in Bloomington were very nice and very sweet yesterday. I was happily surprised that they took the time to look into the situation and remedy it so quickly. Yay post office people!

No More Insanity!
The singer is taken care of (see below if you don't know what I'm talking about). My friend Jason from college is going to sing, which will be wonderful. We still don't know what we're doing about an usher.
Appointments have been made to discuss the pictures with the photographer and try out different hairstyles. Personalized napkins and program paper are on their way. Plates have been purchased and we're going back Wednesday to get the Cokes. The bachlorette party list has been sent to Liz. The girls have their shoes. It's 33 days away!
I have two more small freelance projects to finish up tonight and then i'm in high gear for the wedding.
I called to post office this morning. Apparently when i submitted my change of address to go into effect October 23, 2006 they ignored the date. I received no mail on Friday or Saturday and noticed that the card with my name and address had been removed from the back of the mailbox. They're supposed to look into it. If i don't have mail today, I may have a breakdown. it's the little things any more :)
As excited as i am about the wedding, I felt a pange of sadness today. Liz and I have been trying to find a day we can hang out, and it's too hard to do! We think we've found one, but still. This will be the last time we raelly get to hang out before Tim and i get married. I also realized that I won't be able to go home one more time before i'm married, either. Don't get me wrong, getting married is great and I am beside myself excited. i'm just starting to realize that some things will change that i hadn't really thought about before!

Ups and Downs
yesterday was a rollercoaster of emotion for me. The day started with an UP.

Tim gave me the above Charming Tails figurine as a "Happy Football Season" present. it's the cutest thing ever. I love the start of football, in a lot of ways, because of how much he loves it. Watching him get excited gets me excited, as well! It's adorable! And, i love being able to add this Charming Tails to my collection! He will proudly sit on the entertainment center during every football game we watch!
Then the day had a down. The mechanic called. He said it would be $470 to get my car fixed. On top of the $535 I paid to get something different fixed just two weeks ago. that was a big enough downer to reduce me to tears and ruin the rest of the work day.
Then....

...I went home when Tim left work and there was a package in the door. I thought it was the replacement Ipod parts I ordered...No, it was a wedding present. And not just any wedding present! It was a present from one of my favorite BlogBuddies--Meagan! How exciting is that? Meagan and I have never met (that whole Indiana to Oregon thing) but she still thought to buy us a wedding present. It was the above--the Vh-1 I love the 80s Board Game! It was wonderful and unexpected and TOTALLY made me happy again. Thanks Meagan! Tim is awfully excited, too!
